Hey guys,
I haven't posted in awhile I know...and it's a little shameful that the first time in months that I do is to reach out for some help.
Most of you know that the Boy and I are going to be in Pawhuska filming two segments of his screenplay Indian Girl. We have had a great time planning this. Everyone involved has been really helpful.
One of the only reasons to be in or work on a movie is for the food. Chris and I wouldn't even be pursuing this lifestyle if we didn't know that the catering Gods were coming with the package. What we didn't realize was that when you work on your own film YOU have to supply the catering Gods.
We essentially have 4 days of filming. 3 of the days are easy enough to cater and we can just pick up a bunch of pizzas and beverages. But the very first day (August 10) we will have a yet to be determined (but were' hoping for 40ish) number of kids with their parents and our crew hanging around for a day of filming. Ack!
So, I thought I would put this out to the group to see if any of you would be willing to help us out. Do you bake cookies? Can you bake 100 dozen? Like chips? Know where you can get 1000 bags on sale? Make a mean PB&J? Want to start a sandwich packaging shop? Any way that you think you can help out would be appreciated, even if it's just to lend us your Sam's Club membership.
Also, if anyone in the group has coolers they could loan us we'd appreciate that too. We'll be getting a lot of beverages (of the non alcoholic persuasion) to have on site.
Thanks
Bridget
