I've struggled to watch this show since the beginning of this season. Boy, it has had some boring stretches. But tonight it came into focus. Its main theme was presented so clearly: Love is where it is regardless of rules and hurt. At the same time, the religious angle which has been so fruity since the beginning sharpened. Bill is a rival prophet who is going about God's work in the wrong way, but he is the good guy in a religious battle with Roman. Kinda like Carnivale without the magic. At any rate, love is the authentic religion. It's pretty cool. I know these themes have been latent since the beginning. But tonight the writing was crisp enough to do them justice. It's worth a watch. www.hbo.com/biglove/

Polygamy, right? Does he ever get to get it on with more than one wife at a time?

Not that I've seen, Tyler. He hops from bed to bed. I guess it's okay to have multiple wives, as long as there's no hot wife-on-wife action. I ask, what's the point?
But then again... three hot wives like Bill Paxton's... sign me up!

I secretly think Margie is my most attractive wife, although I'd never let on--especially not with Barb, who is the only one I really love. I'm mad at Nickie right now, so I don't have a high opinion of her. But, yeah, she's a hottie, too.
