Here's a semi-rhetorical, not-so-serious question:
In this season finale of Rome, what will Caesar say as the knives pierce his skin? "Et tu, Brute?" or "You too, Brutus?"

My three favorite moments:
1. The first thing that Pullo does when he wakes up in hospital is find his way to Vorenus’s house, even when he has 10 days of healing left.
2. The look that Octavian gives Servilia after she has declared herself to him and Atia. It is more than a go-to-hell look. It is a lingering threat.
3. Caesar’s death. After Chris’s question I was wondering what he would say to Brutus. Nothing at all it seems, and that was probably most effective.
My favorite line: Pullo: Hey, Venus, I have a question for you: Guess who I am?

Something relevant: HBO Takes the ABC Sunday Challenge www.nytimes.com/2005/11/17/arts/television/17hbo.html?pagewanted=1&8hpib"Mr. Albrecht announced only a couple of weeks into its run that he was renewing [Rome] for another season. But in the interview he said, "That ship hasn't entirely sailed yet." The reason, he said, has nothing to do with how well "Rome" turned out. Mainly, the issue has been money."

Rome was nominated for a Golden Globe for best TV series, but tonight it lost to Lost. I thought that I would ask if anyone on the board watches Lost. If so, could you tell me a little about it. Is it really better than Rome?

Your question implies that the opinion of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association really means anything more than a turd in a spitoon.

(I would like to point out that, if I'm ever nominated for a Golden Globe, I reserve the right to come back and erase that last post...)
