All right... I know I'm notorious for posting ideas on here and then letting other people run with them (or not), but allow me to ask for your input. As I mentioned in another thread (http://disjunction.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=wip&action=display&thread=1133191491), I'm hungry for ideas for short (1-15 min) film ideas. I'm not even asking for finished screenplays -- just a fleshed-out idea that can be told in a short format, and using basic filming techniques (i.e., no huge digital effects). We can take it from there and see what happens. I've really been itching to film something, but I'm never willing to just film for the sake of filming... call me results-oriented.
So... any ideas?

So are you asking us to come up with stuff as a collective, individually or either?
I have a short story that Chad, Jeff and Justin all liked that I think could easily be put into a short film.

Dave, which one is it? It's not THE story, is it? 'Cos that's not done, right? Chris, I like this challenge of yours. I have a few ideas I could send along, but now Dave's got my interest piqued.

You and me both, jtitus. What's the story, Dave? And to answer the question, I'd entertain either type of product, collective or individual. Oh, and by the way, Dave, where the hell is the Pantalon tape??

Ah I wish THE story were finished, but not yet. The story I was talking about was that 4 page story about the two separate couples: the 'normal' ones in the car and the 'abnormal' ones in their house. Chris the story isn't written in a real script form, but it's about 90% dialogue so I think that would transfer easily. And what little description exists is written more like scene setup than narrative. I also have another short story, but there’s much more narrative in that.
Maybe enough people could contribute to give us a full CD of films.
Oh by the way, I still have the Pantalon tape. I'm still incredibly surprised that I lost the pre-addressed envelope approximately 5 minutes after you gave it to me. God works in mysterious ways.
