Tyler,
We got to Oklahoma on Friday morning at 5:30am. Jenn and Emily stayed in Norman from Friday till Monday. Maddie and I went on to Pawhuska on Friday night. Jenn and Emily went sailing over the weekend and hung out at the boat club on Lake Hefner in OKC. I got trashed at Justin's on Guinness and Bushmills on Saturday, and spent most of Sunday recovering.
This week we will all be in Pawhuska from Monday till Thursday. Afterwards I will drive Jenn back to Norman. She and the girls will be there from Thursday till Sunday. I will stay on in Pawhuska till Sunday night so that I can attend Justin's Siouan Language conference. I will also probably go to the Hominy dances at some point so that I can see my cousins dance and eat a meatpie.
On Monday June, 20th, we will start back to McAllen.

Hello all!
We just got back from our two-day mini-vacation on the Island. Jenn bungee jumped last night, and we have it on video. If I can figure out how to put it on the yahoo site, I will try to upload it tonight.
Jeff
PS I think we are now officially back in McAllen for at least the next five weeks.

Well, the inlaws left out for Oklahoma today, so our month long vacation has finally ended. Rose and Craig bought me a new suit yesterday. It is the first suit I've had since I was 12 years old, and only the 3rd I've had in my life, if memory serves.

This is our itinerary for the Christmas trip to OK.
Dec 22nd Leave McAllen for Corpus Christi. Spend an evening with the Whetsells. Dec 23rd Travel from Corpus to Norman Dec 24th –Dec 27th Hang out with Jenn’s mom in Norman Dec 27th—Dec 28th Travel to Pawnee and hang out with Jenn’s dad Dec 28th—Jan 4th Travel to Pawhuska and hang there Jan 4th—Jan 6th Back to Norman to hang with Jenn’s mom Jan 7th travel back to McAllen
Since we are moving around so much, we won’t be traveling once we reach a destination, e.g., we are doing New Year’s Eve in Pawhuska—where I don’t know exactly.

Jeff, ever since Rose switched to VOIP I've been unable to find her phone number. How do we get ahold of you in Norman? Where will you be in Pawhuska?

Tyler,
We'll call you today. We do have some free time this afternoon or this evening. Jon Parsons wanted to get together for something. He originally suggested that we get together at your place, but since he wanted to drink some EtOH, I told him that would not fly. We'll call you later this morning, as we are just getting around right now.

I wanted to thank everyone who made our trip so much fun.
Justin, Amanda, and Maya: Thanks for the home away from home and for hosting one of the best New Year’s Eve parties I’ve attended in a good many years—and without even meaning to! You guys were too kind.
Rickus and Katie: Thanks for showing up at the New Year’s Eve party.
Tyler, Tammy, Nick, and Jacob: Thanks for the sandwiches, the poker, and the company during the Rose Bowl.
Chad: Thanks for the poker lesson. Ouch.
Jessie: Thanks for letting us meet your cool husband. And your friendly dog.
Chris: Thanks for the cool new musical project.
David: Thanks for being such a great friend.
We will return in June or July.
