I just got through reading 'Running with Scissors', by Augusten Burroughs and it's a very good read. It goes quick, but not in a stupid person way (if that makes sense). If you like David Sedaris, then this you'll probably like this guy too. He's not as humorous as David Sedaris is (nor does he try to be), but his life story (and it's all true) is filled with far more weird and disturbing situations. Here's a link for more info, if you're interested: search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&isbn=031242227X&itm=1By the way, they've made a movie about this book. I watched the trailers and it looks like a typical, Hollywood white-wash of the actual story. It comes off as being far more magical, filled with happy wonder than the book could ever be. So if you ever plan on seeing the movie, don't, or not until you read the book first. Good old IMDB will give you a cast list of the movie, if you're interested (their choice of the roles for Augusten, Augusten's dad, & Natalie seem way off): www.imdb.com/title/tt0439289/
