Neverknow (Last night, 2006): www.zshare.net/audio/092406-3-mp3.htmlHere is a song that Emily and I wrote last night. The recording is makeshift, of course. The way we wrote it was I would play something and she would play some notes in the high treble. When we got something she liked she told me. A little later she got her harmonica out and played along on it. Emily had the final say on all the progressions and some of the words. I did the recording while she slept. I plan to surprise her with it when she wakes up. Okay, so there are words, but I haven’t recorded the vocal yet. Maybe later today. Oh, there will eventually be a fade at the end. Also I didn’t have time to put in a guitar line that I thought of. I might scrap that idea. Neverknow My Neverknow My sweetest note Green becomes you More than it hurts From bad to worse So cruel the second verse No one knows from now, till now, How much it hurts There’s just we My Neverknow And we never know Some clever ones Get full by letting go But we, Neverknow, We never know My Neverknow How does this song go? Green for Everything It becomes you You just never know If what you think is so Till it becomes you It becomes you There’s just we My Neverknow And we never know Some clever ones Get full by letting go But we, Neverknow, We never know

Here is Neverknow with the vocal: www.zshare.net/audio/neverknowvocal-mp3.html I like doing these 24 hour songs. They don't give you much time for self-editing. (Which is probably what you'll think when you hear it!) Emmie and I would love to hear your actual opinions.
