Well I just tried to send an email about getting another A&A game together if people wanted, but I got that deamon email thing saying that my email didn't get sent to everyone, so I thought I'd just use the board.
Do we want to have another A&A game fairly soon? If so lets get that organized.

That would be great. And as usual, I offer our home for the game... But only If I can play Russia!

Freakin daemons. They're always lurking about. The best time I can think of is during the Thanksgiving break, on Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday. I wish I had more open-time. Everybody post their open-days and we'll figure something out.

Unfortunately I won't be in town during thanksgiving weekend. Other than that, Everyday of the week is open for me.

With the exception of Thanksgiving weekend I can play on Friday or Saturday nights. And that's about it.

Soooooo........
What exactly has been decided on a trans-holiday A & A game? I think Jeff has made it known that it would be most convenient for him to play when he's in P-Town. So, if the potential players are still willing to come northward, then Mandy and I are still willing to host the affair up here. If not, then enjoy the game down south, you crazy kids, and we'll see y'all a little later.

I'm planning to head north with the kids on either the 30th or the 31st, depending on what you guys say. Would it be ok if we three stayed the night at Your and Amanda's (and Maya's) house overnight?

I am pretty sure Jenn does not want to spend her New Year's Eve watching us play Axis and Allies. But maybe if we did the game early enough in the day, it would work out. Also, I have plans to go out with Jason on either the 29th or the 30th. Again, as far as I know both conflicts would only affect evening plans.

Tyler, Of course we're always happy to put you up whenever you're in town. In this affair, however, it may be wise for us to defer to the general concensus on when the game should take place. While I certainly wouldn't mind you and the kids being here any old night, it really might not be worth your trip if you were the only would be A&A'er present.
Jeff, Where are you guys staying when you're in Pawhuska? Ebony's home now, and, as far as I know, Jessica's guest room now functions as storage (although she was attempting to clear it out late last week, for what purpose I do not know). Well, whatever the case, my house is available, of course, and we have plenty of room. You and the fam are most welcome here.
All, For reference sake, Mandy and I are off work starting the evening of the 29th until the morning of the 3rd. Also, Mandy says that a game of A & A might work well during the daytime of the 30th, and that she and Jenn can go see a movie while everyone else is a-hoopin' and a-hollerin' over who just attacked Kwangtung or how on earth Russia managed to hold on to Karellia.
Jenn, If you're interested, Mandy invites you to go see a movie with her during the daytime of the 30th, especially if everyone else is a-hoopin' and a-hollerin' over who just attacked Kwangtung or how on earth Russia managed to hold on to Karellia.

I and my children will be driving to Justin and Amanda's house the day of the 31st. We'll arrive there probably around noonish and be there until around noonish on the first. Tammy has expressed dire reservations with the prospect of the children being away from the house for two nights, but says that one night might be ok. And as such, I've timed our trip to be concurrent with Ricknkaties. If they change the day on theirs one way or the other, we'll change ours too. We'll see you there!

I am glad to hear that Eb is home. Since Amanda offered for us to stay with you guys the other day on the phone, we've been thinking about how cool that would be. So if it is still on offer, that is what we will do. We'll see you on the evening of the 28th.
Also, I promised dad some pitch one evening...don't know which.
And I'd like to do the thing we talked about one evening Justin, whenever is convenient.

OK... I think I'm going to bow out at this point. It sounds like the time and days that Katie and I are planning on being there won't meet with anyone else's schedule. If one of you wishes to come by and pick up the A&A game I'll be home this evening about 6:00 PM. Perhaps we will see you'ens while we're up in that part of the state.
Warmest regards, rick

There has been a group email floating around that I responded to yesterday, (I didn't think to check the boards...Oops!) in which I said: Do to the fact that I am supervising the Yukon Recycling Center on Saturday the 31st, the earliest that Katie and I could be in Pawhuska would be about 3:00pm that same day. Four o'clock is probably more realistic. And that since we would not have had a chance to spend any time with my side of the fam. We would probably spend most of the day with my parents, sis, neph., and hopefully bro. in-law. I sort'a kind'a guessed/ intuited that you and Justin (it seems) are having an impromptu New Year's Eve party. I hope you don't mind, but in that email I had invited Katie and myself to this undeclared party.
We were planning on staying until Either Sunday night (Jan. 1) or Monday morning (Jan 2) at which time we would make our way back to the hustle and bustle of the Big City.

If that's true Ty, How would you feel about car pooling? I'll need to take my car due to the fact that Katie and I are planning on staying at the boat dock. Of course that would hamper your autonomy during our visit to P-town, but heck where would you go anyway? If you do indeed call, use my work no. in the contact info and remember extension 186.

I called and spoke to Katie. She's got you beat in phone-voice Rick. I'm going to try to get to the P-town as early as possible to maximize the amount of time I have to spend with everybody, what with my time being so constrained and all. It really is paining me to pass on the carpool offer. I really want to talk to Justin about his projects and to see Jeff and the family though. I'll see you guys there!

So... what's the status of the game? Is it on or not? Is there an actual PLAN for the weekend or are we haphazardly sluffing through it?
