The board has now been up for exactly one week. We have 326 posts, in 45 topics, from 11 members so far. A few of us still haven't shown up, like Adam, Chris, Jessie, and Jenn. I also hope that Ryan, Zakk, and Sarah see the board eventually. Maybe even Jason and Jack...
I wanted to ask if there are any changes that you would like to see?

more pornography. Though I do think we have adequate quantities of both explosive bowel competitions and "what not to do" CDC training videos. I also think we should all post pictures of our genitalia. Is there a way to post pictures on here or to host files?

I don't think so, Tyler, though I think you can upload a picture with your profile. If you are talking about larger picture files, you could always upload them to our yahoo briefcase and post a notification here on the board.

Oooo! Yeah! That would be great. Except everyone would have to suffer my extraordinarily slow typing and shitty spelling.

Amanda,
I don't think so. I wish it did, though. STC, the college where I work, will not let me install any software on their PCs. So, I have to trick all my PCs into using old versions of MSN messenger. Right now, they have all been successfully fooled. But this is a temporary thing.
Perhaps we should choose a specific chat program to use. My fovorite is MSN Messenger. The only one I don't like is Yahoo Messenger, as it is always trying to install software and toolbars on Maddie's computer. I don't know if Powwow is still available, but 7 years ago, a number of us were on that one.

Ah, well. Probably for the best. This interferes enough already with my productivity at work. We aren't allowed to download anything to our PCs at the office, either. I can get around this, though, by using the web-based version of ICQ - no downloads necessary. At home, we have MSN messenger. If anyone's interested, here's the link for ICQ's web-based version: www.icq.com/icq2go/

Trillian is a chat program that connects to MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, & AIM all at the same time. It's my preferred program unless I'm trying to do something specific with the individual chat programs. www.trillian.cc/

This interferes enough already with my productivity at work. Really! Thank God we've been kind of slow at work. I think I'm becoming addicted to this

Hey I think I just noticed something Tyler.... When you were asking about posting picts, is this what you were asking about?

When you go to make a new post, there are two rows of style buttons for bolding and italicizing text and what knot... Well on the second row is a little picture frame. I clicked it and it gave me opening and closing image tags with a URL space between them. I just went to Googles image search and and got the URL address of the Can and plugged it in between the two image tags where it said URL. But it's got to be something on the web. You can't just grab a pict off your computer and paste it in. Give it a try.

Ohmmm... Something isn't right with the URL you plugged in. I think. What was the URL?

Yeah. There was an extra space between "....com/" and "cat.gif"

Okay. I (temporarily) admit defeat. I can't seem to get my URLs to work, and I've now tried several. Blast.

Just make sure the URL works when you paste it in the address of your browser. If it works. The link is good, and you can post the images in here.
